   I just realized that the characters can symbolize feelings, which are:
   Parsee=jealousy
   Yuugi=bravery
   Satori=understanding
   Orin=friendship
   Okuu=ambition
   Koishi=love
   What do you think?

   I'd like to think Okuu symbolizes naïveté. Yeah she's ambitious, but she's a blind idiot. Her over ambition is lead by her beliefs. She's just confused since she was overwhelmed with the awesome power of NUCLEAR FUSION.

   Don't get me wrong, I love Utsuho, she's the most epic and is one of my favorite charcters of Touhou.

   TBH I'd do the same thing if I was in Okuu's position. It's the only logical conclusion I can see.

   1. Goddesses give you the power to control nuclear fusion/fission
   2. Take over world
   3. ?????
   4. Profit!

   The fact that Okuu has ambitions of world domination but can still be a loveable, moe, idiot is why she's one of my favorites (tied in first with Yuukarin).
