Not yet hehe, but if they think she's ok to sell cars to the mainstream world, it's not odd to think Miku will someday not be just an Otaku notion.
Still, you miss the point, how do you project a 3d image onto a screen and then render subs into the visual, without fucking the experience up in the process?
It would be like seeing words magically cross the stage for any other musician, just strange. Nothing to retroactively add them to a video release. But, the audience, they might be fine with watching fan subbed anime as a rule till it is released in dubbed audio, but watching a live concert? Of a performer singing a language you don't speak?
Then again, I've watched Rush perform in non English speaking nations for that matter. If she can pull in a large crowd, to sing in Japanese, to people that don't speak Japanese, well, it will certainly indicate how powerful she truly is, if she can mimic what only truly great bands can normally do.

I listen to MP3s of Miku, K-ON, Angel Beats... and I don't care about what they sing the only important thing is if the music is good and other western fans will do the same.
People around the world listen to English songs even though they don't understand a word.if an American band has a concert in Europe they don't project subs, would be totally stupid

Idol seiyuu and other Japanese musicians perform at American anime cons a lot and their American fans still enjoy their concerts despite not having subtitles to translate the songs for them. It's the same thing in this situation: Miku will sing in Japanese and her American fans will enjoy it even though most of them won't understand a single word.
If this were a mainstream concert then I'd expect her to sing in English but she's going to be singing for Americans who are expected to enjoy Japanese music. It would be kinda stupid to have her sing in English in this situation.

Miku Gaga? I LOL'd.
Weeaboos gon' weeaboo. I honestly don't mind the 'Americanized' Miku that much. The first one had a funny face, but was otherwise fine. The one from the most recent article looked great.

I suppose it's not too odd to think of people listening to Japanese music when not a Japanese speaking person, I do it all the time. Then again, I am considered odd for doing it :)
I wonder how many 'odd' Miku fans are required for it to be a financially valid concert idea? Or do they just assume they will gain enough cash value in spin off sales of the event?

from what I saw in the vids the atmosphere was very boring, nothing to be compared to the great atmosphere from the first concert

Well it is good that it will go to proper disc medium.
Although the recent concert I saw in Japan (can't recall the venue) sure looks like a must have too.
