..and this is why a lot of Otaku Asians are angry with Weaboo Westerners..

"You just don't get it. Why fuck us?"

P.S. Your avatar looks awesome that my dog wants to eat it and poop it out.

This is just me trolling. Problem?

Two other underrated examples would be Mx0 and Pretty Face (same mangaka).
    oh oh... and D.N.Angel.

I knew it. So that avatar is Daisuke Niwa after all.

    That's what I always thought.

Also, is it just me or does the singer sort of sound like the English VA of Daisuke?

Exactly. That song is pretty great. I thought the anime was such a shame--The music was great, but I say they should have waited until the manga had progressed a little further.

I haven't heard the English VA of Daisuke though. I had no idea they dubbed it. Did DNAngel get that popular?

It was just ADV flooding the market back in the day.

Yeah, it was back before ADV had a pretty decent ADR director, which sadly didn't last long.

  12. On D.N. Angel sadly the mangaka has dropped it again though from what we can figure it's going to be a 2 part thing like naruto and naruto shippuden so hopefully we'll get to see the end someday. Also yeah wasn't it OBVIOUS that his avatar was Niwa?

Why do all these movies get praised?

At the end of the day movies look the same. The only thing to differ are things like how well its script is written or the size and shape of some scenes. There could be a fantastic director on this site. I've seen movies mentioned on the front page that I don't like - it's all a matter of taste. Some people may like realistic-looking movies, some may like stylized movies (like in 300). Some may like disproportionate movies (like Avatar).

At the end it's all down to opinion isn't it? The same with American movies.

Personally I see movie features like the story the same to another movie which makes cinema in general lack variety. This is just me talking.

    Generaliztions, geralizations everywhere!

Yeah she just finished the first main story. THE SECRET IS OUT. Sooo yeah the last chapter released said THE END of part 1 or something like that. So it is assumed that it will be picked up. Also here is the scanators site for who was doing it before.

ALOT of your questions should be answerable here as well as getting the rest of the series depending on how much you had already.

  19. Let's discuss the actual question of the thread.

Why do all of these artist get praises.

For one, it's because they create interesting stories with likeable characters that the reader can care about. In other cases it's because the art is so detailed or so realistic that you aren't quite sure if it's a picture or a painting.

Take Takehiko Inoue for example. That man can fucking draw, no doubt about it. Not only that, he can make stories for said art that gets praised, 20-30 years after it was made.

Or let's take Eiichiro Oda. Sure, some people might not stand the style, even I laughed at it when I began. But he knows how to fit the art style to the tone of the story and to the comic. Why draw a realistic character when the comic i itself is goofy and out of this world? But let's not also forget that the man can draw. The exotic sceneries that just make you drop your jaw is something to praise, in my opinion.
