What magazines do you read?

  1. Dengeki moeoh and Famitsu

  2. BBC Focus Magazine (Science & Technology Monthly) is the only one I'm actually subscribed to and get every month. Occasionally I will buy NME or Kerrang and Bizarre Magazine which is an alt-fetish mag.

Well i think i prefer Otaku USA to NEO myself but i still get it when i can. I find NEO seems to be a bit more conservative while Otaku USA seems to try and find a more balanced perspective. I also like they're review style more where it seems to act more advisory than saying this one is trash this one is great MOST of the time.

But to each they're own i guess.

Well tbh, I don't read neo that much. Just the other british rags. I still think Otaku USA sucks though. None of today's english anime magazines are as good as Newtype. I don't think animeinsider is around anymore. That was alright. Not great. Magazines are just not that great when it comes to anime.

This thread has made me wanna go to barnes and noble to read magazines in their aisle.

  10. Psychologies and Psychology Today spark my fancy. GQ (British only) as well as other magazines that might interest me, like National Geographic or Brainwork.
I agree with Motaku on British magazines being better. I used to work on the magazine rack in a bookshop and most of the sales were the British magazines.

  11. I've never read the lego magazine, nor seen it. Is it so amazing? Seems everyone else has read it.

I think i used to read it been so long. If it;s what i;m thinking of they're suffering from rose colored glasses syndrome more than i do in regards to the forums.

Basically yeah it;s okay but unless your fixated on legos not the greatest.

  13. Lego magazine is okay, for being free, but the Brickmaster version is cooler.

It's sad though that some of the best magazines are gone now, Sport Compact Car and EGM being two.

It's not amazing, but it was fun, free, and at one point it came bundled with the Bionicle comics, which were awesome. I still have a big stack of those on my shelf.
