What upcoming shows are you looking forward to?

  1. The correct otaku answer would of course be "all of them", but let´s narrow that down a bit. Spring season has started and during April more than 30 new shows will air:

    http://animecalendar.net/2011/4
    http://countdown.mandragon.info/

What are those you are looking forward to most? And why?

    For me that would be:

    Gintama - well, I don´t need to give a reason, do I?
Steins;Gate - I like SF and time travel, so this caught my attention.
30-sai no Hoken Taiiku - educational sex guide for 30 year old virgins XD

(if an older thread for this exists please forgive me; I couldn´t find one)

To be honest, there are quite a few I'd like to at least watch the first three episodes of. So far, I've decided on
    Lotte no Omocha
    Ao no Excorcist
    Dog Days
    Hanasaku Iroha
    Nichijou
    Steins Gate
    Tiger&Bunny
    Toriko

By the way, does anyone know if the first episode of Tales of Symphonia: Sekai Tougou Hen will be released this season?

  4. [copypasta from elsewhere]

I will (probably) be watching A Channel 'cause that's my cup of tea.

I love the girl from Moshidora.

    Yay! Gintama!

There are some others that I will download/check out because they look cool like Steins;Gate and Aria the scarlet ammo.

I have a daki of one of the girls from Under the innocent sky.

    *cough*Lotte's toy*cough*

Oh yeah, I think I'll give A Channel a shot as well. And on that note, Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai seems fun, too. (I'll be happy to know what abbreviation is going to be taken into use though. Godddaam.)

yeah, to be honest I put it on hold at about ep 125, but I´m excited to know that it got a new season anyway, because it means I can finish the original 202 eps without the sad feeling that I completed it, if you know what I mean...

Meh, i'm just gonna copy and paste wiki.

"On February 1, 2011, Gonzo revealed that a new Last Exile story will be planned. Titled Last Exile -Fam, The Silver Wing- (ラストエグザイル~銀翼のファム~, Rasuto Eguzairu Ginyoku no Famu?), it will be released sometime in 2011.[21] The anime will be "a new series of Last Exile [with] new story, [main] characters, and mechanical designs." Koichi Chigira, Last Exile's director, will return to direct the anime. Range Murata and Makoto Kobayashi will also return to provide the series with its unique visual style. Music will again be done by Hitomi Kuroishi.[22]

Four characters, three fifteen-year-old girls and one nineteen-year-old girl, have so far been revealed on the anime's official website: Fam Fan Fan (ファム・ファン・ファン, Famu Fan Fan?) who pilots a small-sized vanship named Vespa, Giselle Collette Vint (ジゼル・コレット・ヴィント, Jizeru Koretto Vinto?) who is Fam's close friend, Milia il Velch Cutrettola Turan (ミリア・イル・ヴェルク・クトレットラ・トゥラン, Miria Iru Veruku Kutorettora Turan?) who is a princess of the Kingdom of Turan (トゥラン王国, Turan Oukoku?), and Liliana (リリアーナ, Ririāna?) who is Milia's older sister.[23] The story will revolve around the conflict between the Federation of Hades (アデス連邦, Adesu Renpou?) and the Kingdom of Turan.[24] The MacGuffin will be Exile, but whether it is the same Exile from the original series is not known.

A partial list of voice actors playing some of the characters was released on the official website on March 10, 2011. Fam is voiced by Aki Toyosaki. Gizelle is voiced by Aoi Yūki. Milia is voiced by Ai Kayano. The list also includes unreleased characters such as Luscinia Hafez (ルスキニア・ハーフェズ, Rusukinia Hāfezu?) played by Kazuyuki Okitsu and Alauda (アラウダ, Arauda?) played by Masaya Matsukaze. From the original series, Eri Kitamura will be reprising her role as Tatiana Wisla."

  17. I am eagerly awaiting the new season of Real Housewives of New York. It's not anime but it should be, because then I would have more Real Housewives to watch. I guess it's ok because a new episode of Real Housewives Orange County is coming on tomorrow. But in the meantime I guess I'll have to watch Real Housewives reruns. I love Real Housewives. Did I mention Real Houswives? If I didn't Real Housewives. Real Housewives man.

I thought season 5 was better improved over season 4 and pretty good. Season 3 sucks ass though.
