are you alright? in a sense, it was lucky that the quake happened today and not while during the Miku's concert 2 days ago. A stampede and numerous casualties due to falling items and exposed electric cables would surely occur.

Sifting through a few of the comments on the most recent main page article reveals that Artefact only suffered a box dropping off his kitchen counter.

The earthquake was actually a lie... The real incident is.... OTAKU QUAKE RAGE OVER MIKU CONCERT... or something.

so maid-san, more details please. whats the situation like on your side and are you at home or what?

I'm fine, but my figures are not T_T
4.5 hours walking back home, I just got home. It was quite damn scary, as I work on a 7th floor, and now you can feel it moving, since I live on an 8th floor.

Damn.. Now you have to clean up these mess~

4.5 hours home?!? that's far! I heard stores are giving out free food and drinks out by the street and suntory vending machines are officially free-for-all.
did you see any casualties etc?

Free food?, at least not here. I walked pretty much all the east side of Tokyo, 14km up to Akihabara where I live. Even though there are very tall buildings, especially in the Shinagawa and Shinbashi areas, damage was very mild, and only limited to broken glass in a few buildings.
Keep in mind that this area is also very modern, so pretty much everything is very well built. I did not see any wounded/dead. Just a whole lot of traffic, and a lot of people walking.

No problem at all in my area. I experienced a pathetic wavering that I mistook as vertigo (due to the fact that I'm taking some prescription medication).
The people around me didn't even react and continued with their conversations.
I guess a goddess was watching over me (Miku perhaps?). hahaha
