It's cool that their focus shot is the other type of attack. Youmu looks like she'd be really fun to play with. Her focus attack is so unique.

When fighting Yoshika on her last Spell Card, be careful not to kill her while she's absorbing spirits. Otherwise the game will crash. Attack her on the attack where she's throwing kunais at you. Then run up and take the spirits before she can heal herself.

You don't really need to focus that much. Just fire while unfocused, Trance the bosses, and bomb if cornered.

True. But I don't really like bombing. Theoretically everything is possible to dodge, so using bombs is the coward's way out. So I try not to use them at all. That's the only way I can feel satisfied with my playthrough of a Touhou game.

This is my philosophy, which is probably why I've never beaten a game.

Heh, easier said than done. xD
Go look at the Subterranean Animism World Record with Reimu A. Against Parsee's first non-spell, bomb to get the graze.
And it's easier than it looks to go up after the kunai. Go between the lasers after and run around Yoshika.

I can never seem to make it in time. When I get close to collect those spirits she's healing with, she's starting a new attack and I'm forced to retreat.
