  4. So wolverine get's the spotlight twice. I'd rather they make a movie, just tired of people revamping shows all the time.

  9. YUCK!...Why is it always: Cyclops, Beast, & Storm...yawn. Wolverine I get. Prof. X is a given. Storm & Beast haven't been 'relevant' or cool in MANY years.

Unless it has: Rogue, Gambit, White Queen, Mystique, or one of the more "Modern" X-Men - it's gonna seem like an Old school retelling. Scott is only 'OK' cause the White Queen (Emma Frost) is around. She's even been re-tooled to be in the New "X-Men: First Class" movie...even Mystique is in it. Beast IS in it but it's a prequel and given his age it makes some sense.

If they go "Old School" with this series...Angel, Storm, Jean, Scott, (maybe IceMan)...it's gonna be a snooze-fest. Those stories, conflicts, & characters have been soo over-done.....Yawn.

  10. 90's X-Men cartoon is still the best.

If they want to make an anime, they should adapt the "Age of Apocolypse" alternity.

You are correct! - "Age of Apocolypse" was the last great X-Men arc. Forget "Onslaught", "House of M", and all the other crap since....A-O-A was the last great Era for X-Men. It did create one of my most Fav cult characters ever... BLINK (Clarise Fergusion).

Even though Blink was introduced at the start of "Generation X" and dies saving them - she lives (as Does Morph - aka "Changling") in the A-O-A world and she was sooo Bad-ass! her fight with Holocaust (to save Sabertooth, who is oddly a good guy) was one of the coolest moments in comics for me!

Blink is alittle like Kuroko Shirai ("Railgun") meets Nightcrawler in that she's a Teleporter but she uses spikes like Kuroko.

I kind of missed the old cartoon series as well I do like the new Scott Summers look for him in the clip. So far Wolverine doesn't seem that impressive as a Anime storyline is kind of rocky so far considering what pissed me off they killed Omega Red in that series.

some things are best experienced in 2D. But Gantz & (our adorable) PT does have a good point.

damn it's Japanese, it should have lots of catgirls, lolis and easy ripping of school uniforms else there's no point in making a western cartoon into an anime
