I WANT to like it.
After all, while movies have long approached the subject from both sides of the spectrum(serious vs funny), games have yet to truly explore the more serious side of it. From Alone in The Dark, to Resident Evil to Left 4 Dead, there's never a moment I ever experienced where I actually doubted shooting a zombie. In fact, we're always getting too excited about blowing that asshole to Kingdom Come with a pipe bomb.
...Well, actually I doubted shooting Forrest in REmake because he IS One Dangerous Zombie, but players were forced to refrain from shooting him because it'll kill you too.
I want to see a game where it made you become really attached to this character via great storytelling, and forces you to shoot the character at some point in the game. Will this game be able to do it? I'mma keep my fingers crossed...

Nope. It has nothing to do with Dead Rising. It's a completely different game and a FPS from what I heard. Those characters were made just to be killed in the trailer, I don't think they're a part of the game.
