What is really getting on my nerves right now is that I bought a case today, which is supposed to be SILENT, has sound-dampening material on the insides to make it extra SILENT, comes with two case fans pre-installed that, according to the two reviews I've read on them, are SILENT, and now that I've built my PC into the case, the case fans are UNBELIEVABLY LOUD. I'm certain I've done nothing wrong; the case is completely shut and the fans have 3-pin connectors, so no PWM. I'm stumped.

Check the screws/whatever holding it. It might just be that they became loose.

Faik the fractal design r4 I have is also a silent case with sound damping material inside. While I don't hear the case fans the gpu is very audible under full load. So much that at night it can be annoying because I can't turn the volume up above that level so I don't hear it. And I don't like wearing headphones all night.

Though I have to say watching porn on a 43' inch television is splendid!
I just have to put the volume really low since my headphones don't reach.
