Since I haven't posted since getting a new PC, I'm on a GTX970 and Intel Core i5-4590S with 8GBs of RAM :)
Relatively cheap, quite powerful and very energy efficient. Had to send the videocard back and got it replaced because it crashed while playing games that have low GPU load. Replacement card is working fine =)

PICS. I'm always interested in cases.

Sure thing :) I got a rather tiny case, the SilverStone SUGO SG13
Second pic to give you an idea of scale with a can of Deoderant.
Excuse me for the dust on the power button, didn't dust that off. Didn't want to accidentally turn it off

How does cable management work with a tiny case like that? Are you using a modular PSU?

A few times, I've kept my PC on for over a month. Is the dust on your power button there because you didn't press it for a month?

Always dusty here :P but yeah my PC doesn't restart unless some update requires it to. It's pretty much on 24/7
Modular power supply is a must-have, if you don't need the cables you don't want them in there. I did it in several revisions :P
This is the way to do it, force things into place with zip-ties and stuff it in whatever scarce free space you can find.
Don't have a more recent pic, but yeah basically get things out of the way of the airflow and execssive usage of zip-ties or velcro-straps :)

Oh hey, isn't that the Silverstone Sugo SG13?
I love the minimal clearance between the PSU and the CPU cooler, ha ha. Very cool case, too.

Indeed it is, the space may have been further reduced. Not sure if the photo is with the original fan or its more quiet replacement. Power supply is almost resting on the fan by now :P

Seems the network manager in Mint 17.2 doesn't import ovpn files correctly.
The work around for now is open them via a console or use PPTP.Posted 5 months ago # -
I feel so tempted to buy a new keyboard.
Must resist temptation to throw away money.

Fuck
I got a new mouse and keyboard... I dunno if I'll keep the mouse since I need a new monitor.

Cool.

Steelseries good mouse.
Can't guess what the keyboards brand is.Posted 4 months ago # -
Corsair
The mouse is neat. I can change the color on three parts of the mouse. And have my own custom name on the bottom of it. Which pretty pointless since I will never look at the bottom of the mouse.

My brother's laptop caught a virus and I had to format it. Its dvd-rom was busted so I took my old dead one and scrapped it for parts :3

My monitor was starting to mess up and would display a white screen when I woke my computer from standby.
I was going to use it as an excuse to order a new 4K HD one but decided to see if I can fix it.
Thinking the behavior was power related I replaced a couple of caps in the power supply board that looked like they were getting hot and it seems to be working again.Posted 4 months ago # -
Do you by any chance sell run a computer repair shop?
