Well being as I just moved to North Dakota about five months ago, I haven't met anyone outside of the work place (None of them share any common interests with me, and I'm the youngest employee by atleast fifteen years). So, it is true that I don't have any friends (atleast ones I can see in person). And finding a girlfriend? Ha. I've got better luck winning the lottery.

I can empathise with you in the respect that you share no common interests with anyone. I moved back to the UK 2 years back and I still have found no one who shares any form of common interest with me. Staying indoors has always been something I prefer though...

People who religiously say get a girlfriend, astound me with their lack of empathy.

  2. I'm a pretty good cook, and it actually saves a lot of money to eat at home. With our budget as tight as it is, it's just as well that my husband and I are contented with our computers, home made food, and each others' companionship.

do you have a full fledged breakfast at least ?

Every once in a while my mom makes the works. Bacon, eggs, pancakes, yum.
But if it's a weekend or a holiday, I usually skip breakfast and snack later or have an apple or banana.

  5. eeeh, that's ok then. also if you're going out for work or study or whatever else, having a "heavy" lunch is not what i'd recommend, since it'll make you all sleepy. having a good breakfast, and also a good dinner will compensate for that. Just one more thing: don't eat too much at dinner if you're going to sleep too soon after it, or it will make it hard to digest. Avoid fried food, cheese, carbohydrates or cold cuts in large quantities, for the same reason. That's more or less what the doctors around say o_ò
i don't care at all about it, since i usually have dinner at 8:00 pm and go to sleep after 2:00 am...

  7. Living with parents is a bliss.

Although when I'm alone for an extended period of time, like several weeks I usually survive too. My cooking is rather decent and shopping is one of the things I still have no problems going outside for.

I've rather got the problem that my eating problems are borked by default already, I always skip breakfast since I can't swallow anything before noon and my dinner tends to be too heavy. =/

  12. A truly successful (that's a relative term) hikikomori is funded by someone who cares enough to support them, but not enough to help them learn to be independent. Unfortunately, I am actually fed way more food than I want to eat. I can't imagine surviving as a hiki (or at least a NEET) for very long if I had to pay for all my food, though...
