I tried this, like, a dozen times as a kid. My tongue just melted the ice, and never got stuck.

ah don knoooe,.... o.0 **fer those of you that carry knives,... it is theoretically possible to scrape your tounge off a frozen surface. If you do it slo-o-o-ly.
But I wouldn't recommend it - so git yur self a lighter for uh survival purposes, yeh! or wut ever bs excuse you can think of to have one.

We went back for that other guy after he phoned us at the bar the rest of us went to after the bet. He texted us coz he couldn't speak so good. and yah we took lots of pics of a growed man with his tongue stuck to a pole.

I did that once as a kid, I think I was probably around 6 or so.
my tongue stuck magnificently to the metal. since I was kind of embarrassed I didn't call for anyone... instead I ripped myself free.
then I stayed away from salty foods and candy for a week or so.

I don't drink, so no (I'm still too young to drink anyway, not like that stops most people though).
If people I know want to get drunk and try that then they can go ahead and do it, I'll just take some pics or videos for the internet before I help them get unstuck.
