When you discovered Lolicon

  1. If I think about it, there was a time when I actually thought lolicon was beyond the pale, so to speak. But then, I always associated lolis with 2D children (like in the image on the wiki article for lolicon), and not so much with the neotonous schoolgirls I've always admired.

    I think it was probably Lucky Star, thanks to the drawing style, that sort of opened the floodgates for me. And, of course, frequenting Sankaku Complex has gone a long way in increasing my exposure to the forbidden fruits of lolicon-dom. Loli condom? Er, sorry, I seem to have lost my train of thought... ^^;

  3. Yeah, I gotta say it's Lucky Star for me too.

    Wanna know something else too? I watched the ENGLISH DUB of it. What now huh?!

    Anyway I don't really find loli's attractive at all...I'm a weird kind of otaku..

  5. It's like Child Porn, but without the guilt of real kids being hurt in the process.

    Like using a nicotine patch instead of smoking.

  8. I thought....this is a Bill O'Reilly "Culture Warrior" segment waiting to happen- lol.

    No really my first reaction was....."You mean this is 'meant' to be sexual?...it's not Joke indeed to spoof the weirdness of Japan" (like buying used girls panties in vending machine).

  10. I was in Japan when I heard of the term 'lolikon', and was disturbed by it.

    I don't like the involvement of men, which is sadly the major topic of lolicon stuff, over 90% is featuring being deflowered by men, and I don't particularly find that erotic or pleasing. I enjoy the art and the severe cuteness of loli in anime and manga. I'd much prefer artbooks full of lolis rather than doujinshi or manga of them - I just want them alone or with other girls.

    Being male makes me not want the men in there - kind of like a possesive thing, really. I want the girls to be available for me only. Of course, I won't take this to the extreme like some 'Nagi-sama' haters out there in 2ch-land, and hate the girl if she's been associating with guys before, as they're only drawings. But that's what I like best....drawings. So, I prefer singular artworks of loli or doujin or manga with the girls only. Regular manga can have guys, but my fetish is single or yuri.

    Then again, a cute, girly shota is fine too! Burichan~~! :3

  14. I'd have to say sometime 3 years ago when I finally got my laptop and started using 8i770rr3n7. When I started looking for better h-manga, I came across 2D loli. (kawaii~ :3) But then came They Are My Noble Masters with Miyu, the legal, 20-something yr. old loli. After watching that series, I still liekd 2D loli, but started a search for legal loli look-a-likes.

    Same here. Males in regular stuff is fine, but it's not good to see rotten guys in my way when I'm after loli or even regular girls. And the penchant for having butt-ugly fat as pigs guys involved makes my skin crawl. There's surely nobody who looks like that in real life, so how is this catering to those who are supposedly able to 'identify' with these stereotypes?

    I guess that's why I go for lesbian or futa stuff, as there's no 'guy' in them. Nothing to worry about.

    But, back on topic, I just really love to see artworks of exceptional nature given their due by having them alone or with other girls, and no guy destroying my vision. I tend to turn away from doujinshi that looks good but has guys in it. Thankfully, there's a slew of doujinshi I just ordered from Mandarake that's free of guys (at least in the ecchi ones)...^^

  20. I discovered it in Japan when I came across Aki Uchiyama. I never looked back. This is all fantasy material. You can think what you want, but lolis have nothing to do with rl girls - they don't look like them and they especially don't act like them! (Too bad, too! lol) If there are people who can't distinguish, well, they have much bigger problems then. You shouldn't feel guilty for letting your imagination run free.

    I tend to like all of it, romance as much as rape and s&m. (On the other hand sister-brother incest really bores me to tears.) I'm partial to the more distinctive artists - Sasahara Yuuki, Rustle, Sekiya Asami, Nishi Iori.
