    They then marked it to NASA who found it a superior solution to graphite pencils ordered 400 pens for $6 a piece.

    The Russian only used used grease pencils on plastic slates until 1969 when they also adopted using a ball point pen.

    The Skylab station was the first US spacecraft to have a true toilet.
