Politics Thread: When The Politicians Cry

  1. Welcome to the politics thread where everyone, including you(!), can post about politics. Doesn't matter where you're from, who you align with, or who you think is a doo doo head.

Let's try to leave all political agendas within the confides of this thread as not to spam hundreds of threads all over the place.

When congress is in session, no freedom is left alive.

  2. My thoughts on politics at times is this.
Politics is a compound of poly as in many and ticks blood sucking parasites.

  3. Personally, I'm an independent. I usually vote Republican but there are some ideas that "pure" Republicans don't like. Whoever has the most things I support I vote for.

  4. I wish I was a politician, then I could lie and slander and embezzle as much as I want. Especially if I was a repubukun.

Well some republican just went to jail but it's only for 3 years.

I consider myself a moderate or independent as I know both the Republicans and Democrats simply cannot be trusted.

I don't follow what one party says and instead make decisions based on facts vs the propaganda machines feed you.

I have values that could be considered conservative and some that can be considered liberal.
I'm pro gun rights, believe in some level of protectionism of US jobs yet I'm also pro choice and have concluded some illegal drugs should be legalized.

  11. I'm a moderate with Democratic leanings when it comes to electing politicians.
I do believe that marijuana should be legalized as to ease up conflict within Mexico and the border, I'm against strict gun control, I am for the occupation of Afghanistan but not Iraq.

On a global scale I'm a realist who believes that democracy doesn't always promote stability though I do believe that economic interdependency can prevent conflict.

    Also,
I hate bradley manning and Julien Assang.

On a side note: I'm studying International Politics and Governance as my major.

  12. I am by American standards, a center-left independent. But by rest of the world standards, a democratic socialist and social liberal.

I would like for the US to be a parliamentary republic but my own preference goes towards a republican monarchy (a form of gov of my own building) and a parliamentary system.

I believe in basic individual freedoms and human rights including press freedom, freedom of information expression, and speech.

I most of all despise Molotov Mitchell and Glenn Back.

You do know that marijuana is a very small percentage of what actually comes from mexico? Drug cartels don't care about mary. They care about uncle Cracky and Sister Cocaine and getting them home in time for christmas.
Come up with another excuse for Jane's legalization.

Yes cocaine is the most exported drug from Mexico, but if Marijuana becomes legalized in America it's more than likely the demand for other drugs WILL decrease and once demand decreases then the need to supply will decrease also.

    - Granted I have no way of knowing to what levels the demand will decrease.
