I'm surprised how many nukes Russia still has and how few China has.

It seems if the US gets the ABL and missile shield working China's nuclear threat could be eliminated.

Still why is China spending so much on their military they are up to something?
I swear I smell another coldwar coming.

The only good news is most of China's fighters are outdated and of their subs are inferior diesel electric boats which are nearly worthless in modern submarine warfare.

what ever happened to that missile defense system?

and i wonder if most of Russia's stockpiles are still "usable"

well if another one does occur will Russia be neutral or will they choose a side? (hopefully not the "opposing side" but my doubts still remain)

The bad news even though it may soon be possible to greatly reduce even eliminate the threat of ICBMs the USAF is working on hypersonic cruise missiles there are no defenses against.

President George W. Bush decided to bring down the satellite because of the likelihood that the satellite could release hydrazine fuel upon impact, possibly in populated areas.

lazer tech. sure has come a long way though but i can only imgine the tab that thing must be racking up

I was surprised too.
I suspect miners would be their primary customers since the Congo is a major exporter of copper,cobalt,diamonds and tantalum.
