  1. What one thing is everyone really looking forward to this Christmas? For me it has to be the re-opening of my fav Sushi restaurant.

Ya I know kinda weird but they have been closed for over 3 months and the rest of the sushi joints here are so-so at best. I also think it is the only one run by someone who is actually Japanese.

  4. The END....I fuckin' Hate Xmas. It's gone from a passive Holiday of Goodwill & Cheer to to a reason to BITCH about religious exclusion.

It's gone from a sweet memory of decorations and music to a GARRISH display of Vamped Up 'Sentiment' that is Built-Up MORE than a Senior Prom where everyone needs to 'show off' or make it "Perfect" or special.

***another reason why I loath Santa Hats on Dec. 1st!***

My newest peeve are all these 'Newly Made' Xmas carols!. Don't JIGGY-UP my Christmas! Don't add African Drums, Techno, or some faggoty "Glee" Inspired rendition of a classic tune. STICK to the TIME LIFE Christmas Treasury!!

Fuck "Grandma got Run over" FUCK every version of "Santa Baby"! (it's NEVER gonna sound 'Sexy' only Slutty!). The Only New Xmas album I want is the Peter Griffin Christmas album! My fav is "LaLaLaLaLaLa Look at the bells..."

  6. I understand what Gantz is saying, Christmas has become a commercial holiday. I really want to spend time with my family but they live so far I never get to meet all of them. They think I'm weird anyway. Besides spreading my weirdness with a hit of Christmas cheer I'll be buying myself a tablet and Painter X. I can't wait >.<.

  7. Food and money, so I can buy airplane tickets to Poland and a ticket for Heineken Open'er.

Edit: On new years eve I'm gonna get fucking wasted at Antikas place because I absolutely hate new years eve.

  13. Sadly, what I'm most looking forward to these holidays is getting my final exam results back at the end of December.

  14. I hope that I see my older brother again and it does not degenerate again into a family row.

I'm looking forward to Jan 02 of 2011 when the holiday will be just something in the past.

  18. Loneliness as the realisation sinks in that I have no girlfriend in a country where Christmas is mostly seen as a day for lovers to enjoy with each other. >_>

I prefer the whole family time version, but they're kind of on the other side of the world, so that isn't really an option.

On a more serious note, I'm not really into the Christmas mood yet. It's still too warm, we don't have a Christmas tree (nor really the space for one, and I haven't seen any place which sells them yet (or at least, for reasonable prices)), etc. And since I won't be seeing my family, this Christmas really won't be quite as enjoyable as it usually is for me.

I'll probably end up walking through the city center during Christmas/Christmas eve though, just to check out the atmosphere. Might be fun, though probably also depressing. :P Not a very big city center though. :/

I should really start to do some planning for the other stuff which I could do during the holidays. Should be a fine time to do some sight-seeing, provided the weather doesn't take a drastic turn for the worse. :)
