Yeah that's my take on it.
If you are old enough, you will be able to locate and enjoy the stuff, but not if you yourself are under age.
I suspect it will take months for all you young un lolicons to stop wailing and whining.
But I am concerned for the industry as a whole. Some will cancel stuff in a knee jerk panic. Some will break under concerns of revenue.
I like school girls damn it. I hope they don't just die out altogether in anime. Bad enough the fuku is already more or less a dying fashion.
Going to be some reeeeeeeeally busy torrent services providers out there as a lot of anime goes utterly underground. Crunchyroll like places will likely roll over and fizzle if this gets out of hand.
I am not concerned that the last decade will disappear from the internet of course, but NEW content might start drying up fast.
Then again, I haven't watched half of the last decades content more than once, sometimes I have not even gotten to it once.
This ban will likely not matter to eliminating the back log for another several years.
I wonder how the international community will respond?
It won't be illegal to buy it from out of Japan necessarily.
Man talk about a curious reversal potentially in the works.
