Sankaku Complex Forums » Anime

  1. Yeah that's my take on it.

If you are old enough, you will be able to locate and enjoy the stuff, but not if you yourself are under age.

I suspect it will take months for all you young un lolicons to stop wailing and whining.

But I am concerned for the industry as a whole. Some will cancel stuff in a knee jerk panic. Some will break under concerns of revenue.
I like school girls damn it. I hope they don't just die out altogether in anime. Bad enough the fuku is already more or less a dying fashion.

Going to be some reeeeeeeeally busy torrent services providers out there as a lot of anime goes utterly underground. Crunchyroll like places will likely roll over and fizzle if this gets out of hand.

I am not concerned that the last decade will disappear from the internet of course, but NEW content might start drying up fast.
Then again, I haven't watched half of the last decades content more than once, sometimes I have not even gotten to it once.

This ban will likely not matter to eliminating the back log for another several years.
I wonder how the international community will respond?
It won't be illegal to buy it from out of Japan necessarily.
Man talk about a curious reversal potentially in the works.

How will Crunchyroll get affected, or any company outside of Japan really? All this does is change the content of which they can license. The Japanese are going to hurt the most. Westerners not so much.

  3. I wonder now how will it effect this site. It mostly relies on NSFW stuff coming from anime, manga and games etc. for news and topics. Does this mean we're going back to penis mutilation and prestigious faggots killing themselves?

What I meant, was a lot of their content will possibly start drying up, and making it a difficult to be viable option. That's a guess of course.

They license as many shows as possible, regardless of what they are. The anime business will start coming up with new stuff which Crunchyroll will gladly get the streaming rights for.

  6. Sukunai You do know that the bill says knothing about lolicon stuff or hentai, Right?
This bill will affect manga and anime like Berserk and Gantz. Gantz has a underaged boy having sex with a adult woman and attempted rape. Berserk has rape and both have extreme violence.

This bill has nothing to do with hentai.

  7. I guess China's the next thing then. Been reading a lot of online-published manhua from China lately. Awesome stuff.

Oh, China. Even if she has the strictest censorship laws. You can watch all kinds of porn all day.

I remember one time when I was there, two guys are openly watching porn in a net cafe while sitting comfortably on lazy boy like couches and everyone can see them. No loli ban or any of that nanny shittery from Japan (well except of course on political and other side of things, China will be notorious no doubt).

But seeing it from a different hat, I can see this as a motivation for creators to think more and not resort to tried and tested ecchi and hentai formula which is past due its optimum usage.

You're missing the point. I said YOU LOLICONS are going to be upset if you are underage, because not only will hentai and all that be locked away, but danged near half the manga and anime market will be getting locked away too.

Or in other words, you young uns is going to likely be stuck with Pokemon.

Wouldn't it upset... you know, allot more than just lolicons when it affects all that?

  11. Like being underaged has stopped anyone from getting hentai/doujin.

Most likely the manga/anime/games affected by this bill will not just be "locked away" but canceled.

This is a very real possibility too. How many will just cave in and how many will quit the market entirely.

I really don't want to see Ranma called porn just because it features a young teen girl nude.

Ahahahahaha! - That would be Hysterical! looks like the "Pin-Up & Idol markets" will BOOM immensely very soon. You gotta admit - It's pretty 'Unnatural' to want to wank at 2-D underage looking girls.

In my day you went to the video store (or watched Late Night Cable) to get a movie that 'Tits and Ass' - movies like "Revenge of the Nerds", "Zapped", 'H.O.T.S!', "Private School", and "Basic Instinct" & "Roadhouse" so you could see Naked Women! or Young women pretending to be in High School (Teen Sex Comedy) getting naked. THIS WAS Natural!

Nadia from "American PIE" was the standard for the years! Thank God American males never had to resort to watching Cartoons for sexual release. Shit, there is an OCEAN of PORN!! Shit, There's a website I can goto where over 500 women get naked FOR FREE and I can chat with them (for free)....Leave that 2-D jazz alone - go get some Pussy already.

  16. Well the thing is a lot of stuff that has NOT been called porn, looks to be headed that way.

Wanking is wanking, whatever gets you to shot your load eh.

I've shot my load to all sorts of things, real stuff and stuff that was imaginary.

But a lot of manga and anime has managed to avoid the label of what it looks like. I mean Ladies vs Butlers, it was really what it looked like, lots of titties and ass and pretend sex. Now it will not have the label anime, it will be called porn. Lame porn, but it will still be called porn.

If you can get online, you can get anything. But you won't be seeing it on a lot of shelves shortly.

I also never have any idea of when shows air in Japan, why should I, I am not even a fraction of the necessary otaku needed to be that interested. I see manga and anime as non hentai if it is not labeled directly as such. Now it seems the distinction will be changing.

I wonder how this will impact shows that have already long since finished airing and have been on sale for years?
Will stores suddenly be ditching shows in bulk to get rid of product they can't sell due to not wanting to fret over the adult rating?

Everything lolicons do, 'affects' me though. From making the rest of us look like rampant pedos, to tragic examples of humanity willing to date a game rather than a real female. The birthdays for animated people that can't actually BE there, and the obsession with 2d over 3d.

This ban will cause all sorts of problems for all sorts of people.
It likely will help the AV business in some ways. It sure will help off shore operations that won't need to care if Tokyo cuts it's own commercial throat.

Life will go on, but there WILL be people that don't benefit.
