Gotta agree with WPE here, Mysterious Girlfriend X was excellent. I've really gotta check for an update, its been awhile since i've read it.

anyway, as for me, while it has been done (already made into an adaptation feature movie). I would of prefered to see it made into an OVA or at least several episodes. Because the Movie adpation was too short and a lot of the original materiel was basically hacked to pieces.
It didn't do the manga enough "justice", from my point of view. Because I thoroughly enjoyed the original manga - it was a saga & rightfully so.
The title that I would of prefered to be made into a limited series, is Naussica of the Valley of the Wind.
