See, i wonder how far the anime is going to go to. I can't forsee them doing 3-4 volumes in 7 episodes unless they pack several chapters into each episode. Even then theres still volume 7 which hasn't even come out yet so i doubt they'll have covered that. I hope they don't give it some bullshit alternate ending then close it off forever. At least leave it open for a second season or some OVAs.

Was just checking in on my article on the last Index episode (still not up on the frontpage), but I'll add something here quickly: My sentiment would be that this cour of Ore no Imouto has a good possibility of simply ending on a rather open-ended situation, whether by strictly adapting the original source material or inventing some story for the final episode.
If it were a 2-cour (24~ episode) run, I'd say chances would be good that would the end of it, but as it's only a single cour, I'd guess the chances of a second season are decent.
Perhaps I'll make some predictions in my articles on the later episodes, although I've been steering away from spoiler-ish material this season for Index and Ore no Imouto.

Thats probably the likely solution Quen, story wise they are sitting at the beginning of volume 3...so they might be able to finish up to the end of 6. Then who knows how long we'll wait for a second season if one ever comes. I still stand by the possibility of a OVA or two to finish it if 7 is the last volume.
Yeah don't worry about spoiling anything here Quen, its just the front page people that tend to get upset about that. If they are here reading stuff then tough shit, they brought it upon themselves.

I like the *Spoiled* ending. I like the Goth chick and Kirinos Bro hooking up. She's an Intellectual and he's Familiar with her Oatku ness. She probably like "Older Men".
*Spoil* me all you want. I'd be glad to know in advance if I'm gonna Hate something. I actually almost stopped watching "Gantz" when I heard Kei & Kato die. Having known in advance I was prepared didn't get as pissed off as I might have.
I am a big fan of *Spoilers*- They soften the Blow or get you MORE excited.

I literally fought with myself for ten minutes about whether to open this thread or not. Now I am unsure whether it is a good or bad thing that I did. At any rate, I'll be disappointed if there is no wincest ending.

Can you deduce more out of it than we can out of that vague translation?Sure - I was simply going to translate the whole thing, but realized I'm in a hurry today (just wanted to respond to comments on that Index 05 post), so just a quick look instead:
In short, there's nothing to be gleamed from that, it's purely teasing text that's quite suggestive, but says nothing.
That makes perfect sense, as the 'Next Volume' previews on a page like that wouldn't give much spoilers for the new chapters...
The final line might be of interest, since some of you folk were wondering about the eventual ending of the series:
"The climax (turning point) of the entire series!? The 7th volume of the popular series!!"
Not the definite proclamation of "Series Finale!" that generally comes with these things.
I haven't been researching the issue of when it might end on blogs/2ch/elsewhere however (I've been busy!), so I am not an authority on the subject, sadly...
