Are you physically fit?

Hard to give a rule of thumb, but usually if you have to ask yourself that then you are not ¬¬

not necessarily different people require different things. I personally find it to be quite an intriguing question.

As long as I am aware (and my gym instructor "hints" go), being thin doesn't equate to being fit.

"Fit" is a term mostly applied to people with:

    1. low body fat.

    2. decent amount of lean mass (that equates to something around 15 - 20% if I recall correctly) and a good ratio between lean and fat mass.

    3. stamina. At the very least being able to rush a couple of stair cases without loosing breath.

    4. Good metabolic rate. Doing regular aerobic exercises speed up the nutrient absorption rate of your body as a whole, especially as fat and sugar are concerned ;) That is why even a casual walk every day helps you so much, it won't burn the extra fat you already have but with a decent diet (as in you don't over compensate with more food) the gains on your metabolic rate will give you tremendous results.

The "amounts" of 1.2.3 vary from person to person, but as far as "fitness" goes, usually it doesn't have a thing to do with appearance and the such, these are only "side effects" of becoming fit. Being healthy (oddly enough) is also not tied with being fit for instance, since a badly done training and diet can ruin your health even if it makes you look good.

  7. I fastwalk 2 times half an hour most of the days.
I got average or a bit more stamina and fitness, even with 1.86 meters of height and about 100 kg of mass. [Accidentally had 2 there instead of 1, 200kg is just too lardy for any good condition.]
I've outraced a younger and thinner friend of mine, all thanks to quite lean leg muscles.
My arm muscles are not really strong and i regrettably have RSI related problems.
Gotta use weight lifting to combat that, but i'm too lazy and distracted for that.

Well if you’re asking me then I will tell you. Other than music ever since I was young I needed to know how to fight because without fighting knowledge I would be dead today. So for years I have trained myself in various martial arts and have withstood many hard training methods. This has pumped my reflexes stamina and strength. Allot of my training involved endurance after long hard work such as running with to pales of water or heavy weights.

    Until here it's believable...

I can strike at(punch, kick, elbow jab knee jab, sword slice. spear/bo staff trust) 100–120 km/h that’s the same speed as a car traveling top speed in a high way that could kill you on impact, and I can run at about 50 km/h which is the same as cat or dog without rest for about 20 to 30 minutes.

    Full of it.
You should break all kinds of record with your supposed trained powers.
Fastest recorded human punches are about 50 km/h, with the fastest animal punches being about 80 km/h.

    http://notexactlyrocketscience.wordpress.com/2006/08/28/mantis-shrimps-the-worlds-fastest-punch/

It's physically and physiologically impossible for you to perform punches that fast, so you're just an internet bragging liar, an internet tough guy.

Running 50 km/h is 13.9 meter per second and while i can believe that a human is capable of attaining that for just a fraction of a second, running that fast for 20 to 30 minutes is utter nonsense
No human can run THAT fast THAT long, it's impossible, except in your nerd rage fueled otakin dreams.

The average human can lift their own body weight, and the average human weighs about 150 lbs, so I guess I could lift 2 1/4 of my self.

Possible, but in the light of the previous lies do i consider this a lie as well.
This is what i make of you:

The most I can teach you over the net would be this. in music don’t just listen and play but feel it flow with the rhythm (also if you want to maintain tempo, on a music sheet put numbers on top of the note values equivalent to how long they last Ex put a 2 over a half note and a 4 over a whole).

Bull, just search for music theory either on the web, a library or a bookshop and you'll learn more accurate stuff.
I only know some essential basics and and this guy is telling you nonsense that will only hinder you in learning music notation.
I produce trance for nearly 10 years now on an occasional basis and i've picked up some stuff just to know more.

for teaching try to understand your students and fit your teaching style so that it can pleas everybody’s learning methods and try to understand your students emotions, a happy student hands in better work because he is more pleased with doing his work and doesn’t think its a bore or drag (also don’t assign to much of the same question in an assignment they hardly ever do them all because they think they got the principal of it right so I found that is better to give them 3 hard questions [hard questions make the task challenging keeping the student motivated and occupied] on one topic instead of 6 normal ones [repeating the same principle gets boring after the 4th so its wise to keep the quantity down but raise the quality]).

    Finally, a bit of sense.
Still, practically seen it's often necessary to teach something in a certain way and not in a different way.

    sonicflame said:
And for martial arts all you need is determination and the will to succeed this all I can really tell on this one over the net.

Determination and will to succeed mean squat when one only learns the wrong techniques and gets the wrong training.

lets take it a piece at a time... i know the whole rhythm theory and what not...but theres times that just doesnt make sense...for example
    this part...

i can play much harder pieces than this...and yet that one part just confuses me...no matter how many times i play it,it doesnt sound right...I can hear the notes in theory but it doesnt help...

Sounds good when i converted it from notes to sound on ModPlug Tracker.
Just ask someone with piano experience to help you play it.

I guess by your standards I'm fit ^^
yesterday I invited a friend to come with me to the gym...he's slightly has more mass than me and looks stronger than me. So he decided to follow my work out...(guess he thought my wy workout was wimpy) long story short after 30 minutes he was puking while I was cycling... Need I explain more?

  9. @Barakem: good read... But I'm not stuck there...(it just sounds weird to me) I just felt the composer could have done something better...maybe it's just me...

It's not necessarily my standards, it's just a more objective look that relies on concrete and measurable facts instead of subjective crap. By no means it's a definite standard, for a more appropriate evaluation you have to do some exams and tests, but it's a roughly good measure.

Also, there is AT LEAST two kinds of training... one for hypertrophy and one for resistance (not going to get into the merits of functional training otherwise we would stay here all week). Someone used with one won't necessarily be able to coupe with the other, also, a GOOD train is one that balances both these aspects while maintaining a good aerobics rate and is SPECIFIC TO YOU (as in have your main goals in mind / without goals training is pointless). Ideally no one else should be able to perform as well on YOUR specific train routine for X reasons.

For instance, you could do a chest press routine with 40kg (I usually don't add up the bar weight) in 4x20 series and a friend that can do the same exercise but on 4x10 with 60kg wouldn't be able to, or at the very least would be tired as fuck by the end of it. In the other hand you can end the routine without much sweat, but would never be able to do even half a series with 60kg.

I would love to get into further details, but my knowledge on the area is still foggy and I don't like to talk shit I don't know about so I will stop here while I am still confident I am not spilling crap >< Not to mention the number of people that like to take random information about gym and apply to their training without much consideration is absurd and this always lead to injuries and the such (the other day a 30 y/o fella on my gym got an ulcer from over training for instance), so I try to keep things as "harm free" as possible.

Goddamn. I'm trying to read and enjoy the Sankaku Forums, but I'm at school and some people just seated themselves on a table behind me and now I can't view the posts because someone might have posted some trap loli tentacle raep. This sucks.

You could disable the pics. Browsing Sancon this way is only half the fun, though...
