Here we have Crack Graphic presenting the webcomic “Better Girls”, but what I suspect are more compelling to the vast majority of readers are the superbly eccentric character designs displayed. Original, and quite interesting to boot, though by no means prolific.
Another one of those striking images I could hardly refrain from sharing. Be assured, this shoe is going nowhere, and looks to be in for an interesting time indeed. From the cover of an upcoming doujinshi by highly accomplished, though unfortunately not too prolific, artist みぶなつき / Mibu Natsuki (Lily Lily Rose).
The work to be released is said to be focused on black tights, sailor fuku, and kinbaku (rope bondage), so it sounds like one to look out for. Presumably, the girls will be also be wearing nice shoes. Be sure to get it at Comiket if you can.

One of the many peculiarities exhibited by foremost lolicon ero-manga anthology magazine Comic LO is the publication of disclaimer style images exhorting the readership not to touch, complaining about opprobrium, etc. Frequently they are eccentric, often they are strange, but always they seem to be witty and well designed.

Once again, it seems the latest compilation version of the To Love-ru manga, volume 10, has received the upgrades in ecchiness which are largely being denied the DVD edition, strangely enough. A number of mistakes and omissions seem also to have been dealt with.
Plenty of fans have seen fit to compare the magazine published version with the compilation edition, so the differences are readily apparent:

Strike Witches forms a set of titles with an unexpectedly chequered past, and whilst the current anime seems to have found a popular and stable niche for showing off delicious not-pantsu in ultra low angle shots, when they escape the censors at least, the earlier original manga version, even illustrated by something of an ero-mangaka, in fact got canned over this very reason, and has only recently been revived as a completely different title, with a distinctly sanitised air.
Let us take a closer look at the original loli manga, and circumstances surrounding the cancellation, as it is rather interesting…

Perhaps overshadowing the actual release of the Comiket 74 catalogue is the illustration provided by master illustrator Tony for the cover of the hardcopy company pamphlet. Doubtless not all of the supply of this particular catalogue will be going to enterprises as intended…

A tournament of sorts to establish which representations of girls in school swimwear were most accomplished took place recently, providing plenty of exposure to artists, and plenty of fine images to peruse.

Deceased illustrator 堀部秀郎 / Hiderou Horibe has been the subject of some unfortunate news, with his works being liberally plagiarised by Dengeki, who eventually apologised, but it is perhaps better we remember him as a talented illustrator whose promising career was cut short by illness, at the age of only 36. You can also see a cache of his homepage through the years.
A topical gallery for those curious about his work, or simply eager to see some talented and tasteful illustrations, or more carnal CG; below is “Yours”. Both his two artbooks are still available; the other is “Colors“. Below the artbook are some of his CG from 鬼作 / Kisaku, a 2001 eroge by Elf.
Dengeki have issued a platitudinous apology for their use of illustrations traced from deceased artist 堀部秀郎 / Hiderou Horibe’s works; they promise it won’t happen again (it has in fact happened several times previously, and they were most evasive in this case until exposed thoroughly on 2ch).
Six types of fundoshi modelled by delicious cake. Top right looks most interesting but least practical; middle and bottom right look to have the best balance of aesthetics and functionality. Unfortunately (?), traditional Japanese practice generally has ladies not wearing any underwear, with fundoshi especially being the province only of sweaty men.
I am still hoping to put together a fundoshi gallery, but it is rather difficult and will take some time… Open invitation is open.
