For those with a pressing urge to rub themselves down with a three dimensional likeness of Kagami of Lucky Star’s charmingly modest endowment, your prayers have been answered, by no less than Amiami, with this limited edition 3D (or rather less euphemistically, breast shaped) bath sponge, released to coincide with the upcoming OVA.
If you’re bored even of flat-chested mouse mats, or buttock mouse mats, this could be just the thing… Out at the end of September, for ¥6,000; limited to only three per customer, in case you were thinking of buying more.

If you’re impatient waiting for the release of the Lucky Star OVA, with the promised cosplay action, you’re not alone. But if the waiting yields more fine art, such as this rendition of Hatsune Kagami, then let us wait a little more…

Favourably received action anime 鉄腕バーディー DECODE / Tetsuwan Birdy Decode (or Birdy the Mighty) is to get a new season, set to air in January 2009. This was announced on a staff blog, as well as at Comiket. Further details are promised later.
You may recall that the author of the source manga recently had some publication troubles, with his serialising magazine shutting up shop, so this must come as a relief to him.
Via Moon Phase.

Eroge anime adaptation 恋姫†無双 / Koihime Musou has broadened its appeal further with the introduction of loli dojiko character Koumei, or “Hawawa Gunsou” as she is also known, from her pitiful quailing (“hawawa!”) at the appearance of any enemy; it is an addition which looks to have been very well received, judging by the amount of attention given to the matter by a great many sites. Let us, too, follow suit and see what all the fuss is about…

More of the at times improbably beautiful modern seiyuu; it is little wonder the number turning their hand to a spot of idolling has been increasing, or it is it instead the case that lately idolisable seiyuu are the ones landing the prominent roles?

Some interesting renditions of Haruhi and the SOS-dan sporting fine Yukata in their classic cover poses come to my attention; even side characters are on display, as well as a modest amount of unaji…

In this gallery of most appealing young lady seiyuu, you are sure to find something of interest whilst furthering your knowledge of the profession at the same time. The question asked on the Vipper threads was whether seiyuu are lately getting cuter; perhaps only reference to the images can resolve this.

Mysterious optical and vapourous phenomenon used to be the preserve of the good Mr Fort, but lately we have been assailed by a veritable barrage of these bizarre occurrences; in a sudden and completely inexplicable turnabout, the healthy near ero-anime Ikkitousen Great Guardians, notable for shamelessness, has been dealt a crushing dose of regional physics, even on the same network that only a week ago was content to have the top-heavy maniacs of the series prance around with nary a stitch about them with which to preserve their modesty…

Lately, Yu-Gi-Oh! seems to have been revived for the entertainment of Nico goers, and the results are as amusing as ever. Behold, Night of Command!

Cars decorated with anime artwork, itasha, may be old hat, but an air of novelty still surrounds the rare ita-bus, perhaps due to the sheer amount of photoshopped buses floating around (see below for some interesting examples, especially the Shinku Liner), outnumbering the confirmed instances by far.
However, here we have a very definitely confirmed example, and it happens to be advertising a bishoujo game and mixed media franchise, 絶対衝激~プラトニックハート~ / Zettai Shougeki – Platonic Heart. Whether we can call it an actual eroge remains to be seen, although it is certainly not lacking in pretty ladies in CG form.

After the relatively chaste sixth episode, Pantsu Witches returns with a vengeance: a pantsu theft epidemic results in the most breezy and service packed episode to date, with plenty of pantsu cross-dressing, and a wide variety of completely nopan scenes. In fact oppai do not feature at all. Only leaves and sudden beams of sunlight preserve the modesty and marriageability of the witches.

Nipponpon revisited; the Code Geass MAD which dominated the Nico charts for days even after it was deleted gets a rather entertaining successor. This one, to my mind at least, is a lot more witty and technically accomplished. Great quality too.
