The fate of Tear Studio has potentially been decided as its parent company, Next Batters Circle Co., Ltd., is filing for bankruptcy, certain to have anime fans curious as to what fate will befall the sexy Nande Koko ni Sensei ga.
It was revealed that Next Batters Circle Co., Ltd. is in an overwhelming amount of debt, specifically ¥43 million (about US$392,000), and on top of that, they also owe animators a staggering ¥8 million ($73,000) – they are expected to officially file for bankruptcy in the near future.
Though they officially stopped operating on December 13th, they actually performed no work since near the end of November; Tear Studio was swept into a dilemma about a week ago when it suddenly “disappeared”, leaving hard-working animators without pay.
Tear Studio’s portfolio is rather short, but they are known for producing Nande Koko ni Sensei ga, Lord of Vermilion: The Crimson King, the Oushitsu Kyoushi Haine film, and Fragtime.
I hope the people that worked there are able to find new jobs on other studios, best of wishes to them.
Gosh, can’t we all just get along? LOL jk. You know how to get a ton of free ground fatty pork? Give each of you niggers a knife and lock you in a room together.
hand drawn animation is a sweatshop industry.
Piss off and go jerk off to beanmouth like the SJW you are
Probably beats being a few cents per post glownigger forum troll like you
Meanwhile trash companies like Crunchy getting rich.
They are all the same greedy Jews! Especially Japan are greedy Jews who can’t even pay their workers. Honor my ass! Fill your pockets with Gaijin money!
They started off with piracy, so once trash always trash.
@14:54
if they had remained pirates they would still be cool
that’s how yakuza works. sorry not sorry ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Strange, those numbers are neither ‘overwhelming’ nor ‘staggering’. At least not in the business world.
It doesn’t matter we already have the uncensored BDs
and the manga is about 9 volumes now, however it is unrelated to that studio
