Its kinda sad, because the guy always stated in other games as being a boy, never wanting to be a girl, especially because his parents forced him to act like a girl because of some religious bullshit, and then, he’s just like “I’m a girl now!”. Daisuke isn’t the same…

As someone who loved the guillty gear lore and games, the saddest thing for me, is that a lot of the guilty gear “community” is just embracing everything that is thrown at then, even if they dont like, they always accept it, be it gameplay, the music(which doesn’t feel like guilty gear at all), and even the lore of the game itself…
I’m not gonna lie, the gameplay and the model looks good, but this woke bullshit is a big NO for me.

GG is a fun game but i personally can’t let this kind of stuff slide because as someone who is familiar with GG lore maybe i missed something but Bridget never had issues with his gender.
it’s clear what their intentions are with how they want characters even though gameplay is probably gonna be cool.

Bridget was fine the way he was, the whole “despite being dressed as a girl I will prove everyone that I’m a man and become a great bounty hunter to give a middle finger to that superstition at my village” was a lot more based than the actual “hey, look, I’m trans, look how incredible I am”.

I think that 99% of the people actually wanted and expected him to have the “trap” body he always had, maybe with a some more clothes, since we know that GG is afraid of the woke, but still the same “confused erection” character we always loved.

I dont know about DNF, some characters were less sexy than what I expected, especially fighter, nothing that some mods can’t solve, but I dont think the game is doing good enough to survive for the long run, I hope that this will change in the future.

Testament was a character i am kind of ok with but Bridget had history for why his character was the way it was and they just completely rewrote it for the sake of the agenda.
