Key’s classic tearjerker Kanon is making a revival of sorts as the characters and their outfits will be gracing smartphone game Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Mei, certain to prove nostalgic, even though many would have preferred to see the series again in something that isn’t as exploitative as gacha.
The collaboration has the Higurashi characters dressed as the memorable maidens from Kanon, and the girls from the sad series are also collectible as well:
