The unreasonably despised and slandered Vic Mignogna has starred in a special Silent Hill 2 fan film just in time for Halloween, offering viewers a slightly different take on the classic horror title and bound to cause interest in the beloved game to resurface.
Vic Mignogna was an accomplished English voice actor known for his work as Edward Elric of Fullmetal Alchemist and numerous other characters in Persona 4, One Piece, and Shingeki no Kyojin, that is until he was fired from several roles by Rooster Teeth and Funimation on baseless claims of sexual harassment and “abusing fans”, which never had any substantial evidence surface in court, but multiple instances of falsified evidence on social media.
The Silent Hill 2 fan film has various familiar elements from the game preserved, but changes are present as well, to ensure a not entirely predictable experience:
Aside from his voice roles Vic is also a great actor, so I’m looking forward to seeing this fan film.
After watching it, I’m quite happy with the movie. It did enough to make references to the game, but also is good as a stand alone piece. Great watch for Halloween.

it goes to show how rock bottom a professional actor have fallen to resort to making fan parody movies just to make ends meat.
He does fan films because he’s a fan, not because he’s desperate for money. Look at Star Trek Continues – a bunch of voice actors, including Vic, who made possibly the best fan-made Star Trek show ever, built replica sets and everything, and with a poultry amount of money they got from Kickstarter (not to pay the actors, only to pay for sets and equipment and such), all done because they were passionate about it, despite nobody getting paid for it (except maybe the guest actors, not sure about that).

Ends meat implies he got paid for doing a fan film, he volunteered. And there are tons of well-known actors who do fan films, like Tony Todd. And guess what, he just participated in the new Candyman movie. So doing fan films doesn’t mean an end of a career, but just actors having fun.

Sure he may be on a blacklist in Wokkywood but that does not mean he was ever even tried about the predator allegations.
