Crunchyroll has finally aired its much-reviled non-anime High Guardian Spice, and the reviews are as many had expected: dismal, with mostly 1-star ratings.
High Guardian Spice was initially announced in 2018 with a release window of 2019, but delays led to it being launched this year in 2021.
After all the backlash Crunchyroll has received over the series, from its generic story and animation, the feminist political talking points, and a certain man-hating pink-haired woman, it’s little wonder that when their show finally aired, it would receive a 1.3 out of 5 rating:
Crunchyroll desperately tried to cover up all the negative criticism about their precious High Guardian Spice before, so it will be interesting if they attempt to hide the ratings and reviews this time.
Great. Now this abomination should serve as a constant reminder to people paying for Crunchyroll where their money is going.
I commented this on the YT trailer, but it mysteriously dissapeared while comments saying it was a good expense remain
Many here are OG anime watchers from the days of pirating. Those watching Crunchyroll are new gen anime watchers. Also Google censors pirate websites, unless you use specific key words or know the website by name. Yandex search engine is better for piracy these days.
Even Bing is better for piracy.
zogle search engine is fucking trash period, dont even use that filtered globohomo garbage site anymore and havent in years
Youtube has a rampant deletebot issue lately.
You can’t even mention names of people outside of YT, like artists and etc, because most are NSFW.
It’s both bot and femnut manually deleting anything that doesn’t kowtow to zog bullshit
I seriously doubt a “femnut” can delete all my comments mentioning anyone within 8-18 seconds every video someone asks me what my pfp is.
There’s a rampant CR shill on myanimelist who trashes on anyone who points out the problems with CR, it’s rather funny
What would you expect from people who haven’t heard of punctuation?
you too are retarded
you’re one of those assholes
That’s why i love piracy, i can be away from s♥♥t like this.
This show isn’t even worth pirating.
That wasn’t his point, his point was that since he doesn’t pay for any subscriptions he’s not funding the creation of crap like this. And since almost everything made with the revenue from almost any subscription you can get is s♥♥t like this…
Better to just be a pirate and not pay money to support something you hate.
not to say piracy also promotes sales of good things since things you would
“have some interest in, but wont take a look at becose it seems like waste of money”
and boom if you pirate it for free , play/watch it and find out
“how the f♥♥k could i tought that?!”
bam
piracy bad? naaaaah
and in fact for people like you the anime industry is in crisis
Pirate everything, and if it was truly good, pay for the actual product after the fact; that’s the way I’ve been doing things for a long time now, and I’ve gotta say, it’s much better than paying for something, only to find out I actually hate it.
+1
Had to look up who was in charge of this dumpster fire of a show. I can’t even tell if the director is a man or a woman. And the hand full of people I looked up, yup diverse as f♥♥k.
The creator is also an extreme man hater, having a set of tweets they deleted that said “kill all men”
you are a hermaphrodite, or futanari as weebs like it
I guess you also don’t know your gender
@ 21:16 shut the heck up
And yet 99% of these idiots are retarded enough to continue paying localization companies money for anime, manga or games that they work on, even though they insert s♥♥t like this into the scripts all the time.
Baby steps I guess, but these companies ideally would have died off years ago.
ask that even fewer watch anime, one day there will be no fansubs anymore and you will regret it ever since.
Better to locate than to pirate
CR is a major reason fansubs went the way of the dodo. CR started as a fansub group, if you don’t remember.
Fansubs all the way. f♥♥k localizers. Import directly from Japan.
CR was never a fansub group it was the site where most fansub groups uploaded to before CR cucked out from all the DMCA and went legit. CR had its roots in piracy like FAKKU before both turned its back on the community that built it up.
It is no surprise that anime/manga have conquered the West.
If you put this cartoon and an anime side by side, you see the gap in quality that exists between cartoons in the West and Japan. Aside from the story, it sucks.
