A Gundam conference has led to Bandai and Sunrise unleashing a salvo of announcements regarding the legendary mecha franchise as a new anime is coming for the first time in seven years, along with a movie and 9-part compilation.
The new TV anime is called Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury and it will air sometime in 2022, while the new film is titled “Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan’s Island” and retells the 15th episode of the 1979 anime, where the characters of White Base meet former soldier Cucuruz Doan (the movie will also debut in 2022).
A 9-part special compilation for Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans is also on the way come 2022, perfect for those yearning for more from that particular entry.
On top of all these anime announcements, a new life-sized Gundam is also coming as the RX-93ffν Gundam is getting its time to shine and will have a long-range fin funnel mount and various “gimmicks” the Nu Gundam is synonymous with.
The colossal RX-93ffν Gundam will be situated at the Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport in Fukuoka.
well just have to see what it’ll even look like
Mercury…..
Way too close to the Sun.
Cool.
Mercury huh, wonder what era
I am not sure the picture on top mean anything as no one knows what this new Gundam show will be about. To be fair, the title is suggestive that we may actually have the first female lead ever, but who knows?
7 Years since the last series you say? Might wanna look up Iron Blooded Orphans and Build Divers… Maybe put in the effort to check a Wiki before writing an article? Do at least the bare minimum of fact checking?
find a mirror and say what u typed to yourself in the mirror
