Resident Evil 3 Fan Spites Remake by Recreating Removed Clock Tower Area

An environmental artist took up the task the developers of the Resident Evil 3 remake were seemingly too lazy to do on their own as he has recreated the clock tower area from the original game, a classic area that was removed in the remake and had upset quite a few fans who cared more about accuracy to the original as opposed to new segments where the player holds the up button.

Made in Unreal Engine 5, the artist explained they began working on the project about five months ago and that their idea was to take the location from RE3 remake and expand it by adding the clock tower area from the original game – screenshots of the amazing feat:

Certain individuals have likely grown tired of developers trying to re-imagine these games in a way that disrespects the original, but considering how profitable nostalgia is combined with the vast success that games like these manage to attain no matter what their quality, it seems such unfaithfulness will continue.
