Japanese Man Arrested After Leaving Corpses of Parents in Refrigerator

Yet another old man has been apprehended by the authorities for abandoning familial corpses, the somewhat deranged individual leaving the bodies of his mother and father in his fridge and not yet unveiling their cause of death.

The 59-year-old man (occupation unknown) lived at a Fukuoka City residence with his 88 and 87 year old parents and was arrested by police at a Kyoto City hotel parking lot, he has admitted to the allegations of corpse abandonment.

Police officers responded to a tip on June 28th and made their way into the residence to find the corpses stowed away in an industrial refrigerator with a glass door that was sealed up with tape – the corpses were confirmed to be the culprit’s parents and autopsies have not determined their cause of death.

A nameless informant mentioned to police that they saw the son out with one of his parents at a department store on June 20th, and the police were contacted by a relative after they lost contact with those living at the residence for some time.

The bodies were said to have no visible damage and the criminal apparently ran away by train to Yamaguchi and Shizuoka on June 23rd, resting at hotels in both prefectures – police are investigating further.
