Final Fantasy XIV has apparently accumulated an active player count that is higher than longstanding MMORPG World of Warcraft, a turn of events that will hardly instill surprise as some players know WoW has been on a steady decline due to developer decisions (and likely also because of censorship, unneeded politics, and the heinous actions of Blizzard).
The official Twitter account for the Final Fantasy XIV Reddit shared information present on the website “MMO-Populations”, which tracks statistics for MMOs such as their active player count and total player count – the list currently shows Final Fantasy XIV sitting pretty at the top spot in terms of active players:
It is unknown how frequently this list is updated or if it is reliable, so it is likely the information could be wrong.
To bad most of the people that FFXIV are horrible people that love to start drama over dumb s♥♥t. They act nice but in FC’s a lot of them break up over time due to BS. I ended up switching to 3 different servers due to BS with Females, though not their fault mostly thirsty guys that end up being the issue.

So I am an EQ player, wife plays WoW. We tried FF, sure has pretty graphics, but the game is boring as f♥♥k and their support is s♥♥t.

One advantage that FF XIV has over WoW is that their story is good, or not very bad.
