21 Arrested in Prostitution Ring Worth ¥7.2 Billion

Japanese police have arrested countless individuals who were part of a rather sizable prostitution service, with it being claimed that the business managed to accumulate over ¥7.2 billion since its inception.

Four shops located in Tokyo, Gotanda and Nagoya City were accused of offering prostitution services, as a result, 19 male and female employees were arrested, along with 50-year-old President Kutsuki Tomohisa and 44-year-old Executive Kazunori Ujita from the dispatch-type brothel known as “Final Stage”.

All individuals were arrested on suspicion of violating the anti-prostitution law, however, all of them denied the allegations.

The company, operating under the name of “Oku-sama Tetsudou 69”, controls 16 stores across Japan and possesses about 2,100 female employees, it is said that the stores involved have accrued about ¥7.25 billion ever since opening in 2005 – police are currently investigating the truth behind the business and its practices.

Four arrests were carried out between April and July of last year across four stores in Nagoya, Gotanda, and Yokohama, as female employees aged between 49 and 59 were sent out as partners to male customers aged 48-64.

Going by the statements of past employees and customers, the police are investigating the incident; every store has made the claim that sexual intercourse is prohibited, though it has been suspected that illegal services may have become the norm.
