The official Japanese Tales of Vesperia website has given details on the resolution and frame rate differences between the game’s various ports.
The official Japanese website for Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition has listed the resolutions and frame rates for the game’s ports; 1080p and 60FPS is attainable in battle for all versions, although the Switch needs to be docked in order to achieve this. Switch and Xbox owners, however, will have to settle for 30FPS outside of battle.
Only PC users will be able to play the game in resolutions above 1080p.
Nintendo Switch: 1080p if the console is docked, 720p when undocked. 60 FPS in battles and 30 FPS elsewhere.
PlayStation 4: 1080p and 60FPS in all situations.
Xbox One: 1080p resolution at all times; 60 FPS in battles and 30 FPS elsewhere.
PC: Resolutions up to 4K are available and frame rates are variable.
Bandai Namco also released a trailer showcasing the game’s battles, costumes and skits:
Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition will be released worldwide on the 11th of January 2019.
PC is always superior, now is more superior because PS4 games will come with censorship.
Cheaper price in the long run / upgrade cycle, massive library compared to consoles, better input methods – m/kb, stick/throttle, voice, eye tracking (not everyone can use a controller), less censorship or easily removed, can connect to large tv’s and be played from the couch just as easily as a console, easily repaired.
Yep, PC is far superior.
If you have thousands of dollars of course 🙂
Just beware with involuntary doxing.
^this
Except for the fact that Bamco will probably put some crappy DRM in there somewhere.
drm’s can be cracked
never had problem with DRM either it’s Denuvo or any kind of it, so i don’t know what’s the fuss. well i got a powerful PC though…
ah, I get it! you’re on of those sony hating retards, saying the same stuff in every thread.
Just reminding people why they should support Sony into completing its own corporal suicide of its Playstation branch.
It is either that or they really just want japanese developers out of their console.
Either way, no hate at all, just spreading the love, so as many people can be informed support Sony like do.
Everything’s superior except PS4 because censorship.
proofs of vesperia censorship on ps4 or gtfo, retard :/
Its a joke retard
that joke sucks
@12:28 there is literally no DLC more questionable then in-game ones. So, no way that happens, no matter how much whiners like you blow their asses on it 😉
Expect PS4 DLC to be heavily burqa’d.
Surprising they didn’t “enhance” for the Xbox One X, which in terms of specs is the most powerful console on the market. It should easily run the game at 60fps anywhere.
Why would they? The X is an American piggu system.
PS4 Pro
2.1ghz 8 core
4.2 TFLOP GPU
8gb gddr5 memory
Xbox One X
2.3 ghz 8 core
6 TFLOP GPU
12gb gddr5 memory
PC FTW
Did people forget that the Switch is barely more powerful then a Vita..? It’s nintendo and the Switch has been shown to be notoriously “minimum settings, lower frame rate, lower resolution, but it’s on switch, shut up!!!” in case everyone forgot…
And yet Switch users will get the exact same experience as Xbox users for this game.
