Casual FPS-lovers looking forward to more of the same old military shooter action in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be displeased to know that there will be quite some wait before they can get into the action, as the game will require a 50GB day 1 patch, something of a record even by the standards of AAA trashware.
The startlingly gargantuan size has many discussing just what could possibly be contained within the generic copy-paste shooter to make it that colossal, as well as why the developers need consumers to download such a patch in the first place…
According to Activision’s support site, it is recommended that 112 GB be available for “an optimized download experience”, further adding to the hassle – those downloading the digital version however are completely exempt from this inexcusable development.

10 gb? What kind of stuff did you take? Times were games in average are 10gb are long over. Something like 30-50gb is common nowadays.

Calling this a patch when it isn’t. It’s literally just the same as having disks on console. You have to install the game and use the disk to run it. It’s not a patch you fucking morons.
