Aya Hirano Hits It From Behind

Seiyuu-of-legend Aya Hirano has gotten herself into hot water yet again as she has been deemed responsible for a rear-end car accident, thankfully escaping injury.

Occurring in Tokyo, the esteemed seiyuu rear-ended another car that was waiting for a traffic signal; while no one was injured in the ordeal, police ruled Aya Hirano responsible for the accident due to her inattentiveness.

Aya Hirano may perhaps be best known for voicing Haruhi (Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu), Konata Izumi (Lucky Star) and Misa Amane (Death Note) – the seiyuu also apologized via her blog:

“To everyone,

As it was stated in the news, I ended up causing a rear-end accident due to my carelessness. Neither I nor the other driver sustained any injuries and under the direction of the police, the matter has now been dealt with. I deeply apologize for inconveniencing the other driver in this matter and I am truly sorry for making everyone worry.”
