Hatsune Miku Talk App Graces Google Assistant

Crypton Future Media has launched an app called “Hatsune Miku Talk” for the Google Assistant, allowing Vocaloid fanatics a chance to converse with their beloved wife and even issue her commands (though unfortunately nothing of the more perverted sort).

Compatible with any Google home device, Android devices 5.0 or higher and iOS 10.0 or above, even westerners can try the app out by downloading the Google app to activate Google Assistant and then manipulate settings to enable Japanese speech.

Bearing similarity to the Miku app on Alexa (but without requiring a Japanese Google account), the virtual diva can respond to basic phrases and words such as “utatte” (sing), “ohayou” (good morning), “hajimemashite” (nice to meet you) and “mata ne” (see you later).
