The 11th installment in the classic Mega Man series has at long last been announced by Capcom after being neglected for 5 years, with many predicting its emergence likely being due to Capcom wanting to milk fanboys of their money via nostalgia.
The game was announced during the Mega Man 30th Anniversary Celebration live stream along with a trailer:
Mega Man XI is slated for release on the PS4, Switch, Xbox One and PC sometime in late 2018.
Mark my word; its either not going to come out, or its going to play EXACTLY like Mighty No. 9.
The funny thing will be, if it DOES play exactly like MN9, all the MegaMan fanboys will pretend that it doesn’t while still pretending that Inafune forced them to give money to a Kickstarter that only had a single .png concept art picture as its only evidence of existence when it made 4mil.
when will people learn that game companies are not charity. If it makes money, they will do it.
Not adding Megaman DOS the ultimate pride of the series~
This looks like Megaman X8
What i think the series needed is to have a more extensive game, in general they were really short, in snes its not a big deal but when the game becomes more expensive we expect more hours of fun of it
Lets hope this brings some good news for the series
I wonderif it cvost less than 4 million bucks to develop?
Im proud to say Ive played the vast majority of these games and though I have no means on playing 11 until it comes out on PC Ill still wait like I always did through the 80s the 90s and the 2000s
Now if only they would give a proper story that covers the timeline between the classic and X series and from X to Zero series
