A newly opened Chinese zoo is garnering notoriety online as all its pens were filled with common animals such as chickens, ducks and geese – the strangest attractions however may have been the inflatable penguin dolls.
The zoo, located in Yulin’s Guishan park, became famous on Chinese social media after visitors began sharing pictures of the “animals” on display:
The zoo apparently tried to promote its penguins by way of advertisements, though visitors were met with a surprise upon actually entering the zoo as the penguins were merely inflatable dolls (perhaps an understandable circumstance considering the zoo’s entrance fee was only $2.20).
Such an unimpressive zoo may not shock long-time China watchers however as China has been known for putting dogs into pens and claiming them to be lions…
It’s as if EA were running the zoo and wants you to pay extra to unlock real penguins.
more like Alpha build from an indie product …
Further proof that the Chinese just don’t give a f♥♥k about anything.
So life like
Look like someone farm in their backyard than a zoo.
These are just placeholders
I thought so at first too but they have chickens and geese as the only live animal there as far as this story is letting on. As such no its not a place holder because they have nothing there to begin with.
Permanent placeholders…
