An avid Kantai Collection fan has been arrested for hiding inside a game center after hours so he could get his hands on the new cards for the Kantai Collection arcade game – at least proving that not all fans have abandoned the franchise for Azur Lane yet after all.
According to police, the 29-year-old part-time worker from Kobe City’s Nada ward visited a game center in distant Tokyo’s Chuo city before midnight and hid inside the shop whilst the shutters were being closed; due to the vigilant security system, guards soon came running to his location and found him behind a game machine holding both a crowbar and screwdriver.
The suspect was discovered at around 02:30 and was promptly arrested for trespassing; admitting to the charges, the man revealed that he “wanted to obtain a new card that was inside the game machine” – the Kantai Collection arcade game being known for regularly providing players with new content.
Kancollection is use the paid coin as timer countdown, so that’s why they always sit there to long time, maybe they want the girls card, if dont have their waifu, they will keep sit down until they get their own waifu
Inside Kancolle Arcade Machine, are all blank card.
the machine just print when you get it in game, i believe more than 50% of ppl play this game know this.
since we will see arcade staff refill blank card in machine, and u have to wait few minute for a card printing process after each time u got it…
Years of reading SanCom, when I am reminded of China, I think about buildings fallen on their side, recycled trash oil, septic tank explosions, ass piercing chairs, cosplayers and Azur Lane.
Oh god, you made me remember the ass piercing chairs…
I still think SanCom has some paid agenda to sneak in Azur Lane awareness whenever they can.
Just speculation of course…
nah, that could never happen. The chinese are perfectly reputable business people and would never engage in blatantly obvious paid content campaigns
At the very least Rift, who seems hellbent on insisting that Kancolle fans are psychopaths who can’t accept his superior lootbox game as the messiah.
Duh, the Chinese/Koreans are all over the sites. Just look at past posts concerning nationalism activities.
*scrolls front page and looks at chinese trash talking article from 2 days ago*
*laughs*
These cabinets don’t actually have cards inside of them, instead they print on blank ones when obtaining them in game. This crime was pointless from the start.
I’ve been wondering how they do drops in the arcade game. lol.. it’s all random I was wondering how the f♥♥k the machine was stocked with so many.
Didn’t know that, that’s a great way to deter dumb thieves tbh
