Despite the naysayers claiming the game to be nothing but a superior copycat of Kantai Collection, China-made smartphone game Azur Lane has accumulated over 2 million players – though the title still has quite a way to go in terms of matching the popularity of games like Fate/Grand Order.
The announcement was unveiled via its official Twitter:
In addition, the first ever Azur Lane figure is currently being produced, which will star the lovely Atago wearing her skimpy bikini:
The figure will be available at Winter Wonder Festival 2018.
Mixed breed perfection!
Why Toyota copy design from Ford, Benz but sell more?
How do you destinguish, if its copied or not? All cars look same for me. 4 wheels, one engine. The very idea of self-propelled car and some prototypes were there long before fird ad benz. They both just copied as well 😉
The parts where made with the metric system and would last longer, but cost less. A lot of the older cars in the US where intentionally made to break so service stations would have more business.
Sometimes it comes down to necessity. More people have phones now, opens the market way up.
KC is also on phones if that’s why you’re saying that.
It’s s♥♥t though.
Not s♥♥t, I play it in android every day and I assure you it works well
Both azurlane and kancolle are very different, while kancolle is more headed towards strategy and planification, azurlane as far as I know includes danmaku mechanics. It depends on whether you like one or another.
I just drop in from time to time when things get slow.
MMO hero.
I’ll get a real life some day.
