The anime characters (mostly antagonists it seems) that like to talk big but end up losing or dying sometime during the series have been ranked, leaving one downtrodden character to secure first place even though he’s a good guy.

i don’t see why buggy claimed as a loser. so far, he’s winning in his pirate career life, and i bet he will be the pirate king if oda trolls.
I know this list is about battle series, but it still disappoints me that this list didn’t include Nico Yazawa and Sachiko Koshimizu.
And least it has Yu Yu Hakusho which WHAT THE HELL PIERROT, MAKE A REBOOT ALREADY.
Not a bad list, where is Mr. Satan? There are plenty of others from other shows, but Mr. Satan qualifies even more than Yamcha.
I think this list is about people who talk big, because they think they have a chance.
Mr Satan was this only very early on and it was justified, he was world champion after all, but this changed to “just putting on a show” very quickly.
I also do not think Yamcha really deserve to be on this list, because he knows when things are way over his league. After Saibamen he knew he had no chance and he got only defeated to them, because he was surprised.
I think this list is more for people who talk a big game and still believe in what they’re saying, rather than people who front a big game for the audience but know with certainty they haven’t a bloody prayer.
Yamcha talks himself up through most of DBZ but each time he shows he’s legit bodied in the first round, be it tournament or invader arc. It’s either first round death, or he stays at home.
i don’t agree. he is the champion after all.
I’m glad Jerid is here, he had the most ridiculous non-rivalry with Camille. Well, really hating each other part was real, but Camille just blew him the f♥♥k away.
Vegeta losing has done wonders for his life. Guy is married to a hot (and rich) wife and son is already wielding power he never saw until late adulthood. Greatest accomplishment is him conquering his ego and reaping the benefits from that twofold. Honestly Vegeta is the poster child for how losing can make a character infinetly better over time.
I just think Vegeta woke up to find that power did not make him happy. Goku had a balanced life and was free to go after his dreams, enriched by family and friends. Vegeta only lived for tradition. I think a modern Vegeta would be Donald Trump Jr. Obama is Goku, pun intended.
