Fans of Kemono Friends are convinced that the recent talk show live stream that featured the show’s numerous seiyuu apologizing for the controversial firing incident was staged by Kadokawa, believed to be a rather lazy attempt to rectify the catastrophe by shoving some pretty seiyuu in the faces of easily pacified otaku morons.

Perturbed fans believe Kadokawa forced the seiyuu to apologize on behalf of Tatsuki and studio Yaoyorozu (the animation studio that has since resigned from the project), as some of the girls are relatively new to the industry and if they were to take any line other than Kadokawa’s, it would likely prevent them from ever getting voice work again.
The phrase “声優の盾” (seiyuu shield) had also begun to trend on Twitter as a result of the incident, though fans were unsurprisingly quick to accuse Twitter of defending Kadokawa after the tag vanished off the notoriously heavily censored trending page:

Never thought Japanese companies were the kind to steal people’s ideas like that. They kick their creators out like dogs and then just take their ideas all for themselves. That’s the worst thing that could happen to an artist.
They learned it from the masters, of legally stealing without giving a hint of credit or respect, domestically and internationally, historically till now.
And they acted as if they made everything, are everything, without any faults or unearned privileges.

And let us not pretend now, that no one knows exactly who you are. Troll postings for more troll comments for troll clicks, and yet selectively letting certain kinds of non-minority opinions slide, while withholding for a day or two, or deleting other minority opinions, as well as defending certain types of initiating shat behaviors hostile to otaku culture here, while chiding other responding shat behaviors in support of otaku.
Get this, these seiyuu are minorities you can insult and belittle in your country, but they belong to the majority in their country. In their country, they don’t go spit on or attack your people, like you do to them in theirs.

Things went to hell so fast, Kemono Friends may turn from been one of the most beloved to one of the most hated shows.
Nobody who liked the show before hates it now. That’s the problem to begin with. Fans aree siding with Tatsuki and that’s pissing Kadokawa off.

f♥♥k those who don’t like the anime due to Kadokawa’s BS. It is one thing to hate on Kadokawa again for the BS they pull, it is quite another to hate an anime because of it, as an otaku.
