China’s harsh censorship laws have now managed to make their way into the Chinese version of the absurdly popular mobile game that is Fate/Grand Order, with two of the game’s scantily clad servants having their character art removed or altered to ensure the purity of the upstanding Chinese people.
The original character illustrations:
The alterations, which involved the removal of the aforementioned illustrations and the cropping of portraits, though it seems the in-game models were unaffected:
A video covering the censorship:
As compensation, players were rewarded 100 Quartz (in-game currency) to make them shut up and get back to dutifully shoveling money into the pockets of their mobile masters.
I’m from China and I believe Chinese people watch as much porn as any other people. I have no idea all those censorship s♥♥t is “helping” who…
I’m playing another chinese mobile game and people on there are starting shitstorms over it.
So do you know Kung Fu?
I guess you must know boxing, being a white person
I (or an average Chinese) know as much Kung Fu as you guys, cause most Chinese people also only know it from movies or novels just like everybody else
No worries, I was just joking dude. You know that stereotype about Asians and Kung-fu!
I am Anna My collection of hot photos here v7wtp.tk
wow….. just wow…. this.. this is just sad, next thing we know China is saying they own Fate/Grand Order cause i vaguely remember a post about some smuck making a novel out of the VN version of the Fate/Stay Night and claiming that he wrote it and drawn the cover all by himself.
Who cares, mobile games are shitty anyway. Especially these micro-transaction heavy ones.
I’d like to see their reaction to Wu Zetian
