Japanese Twitter users have been likening a NASA image of the recent eclipse to a dangerously low angle short woman’s leg wearing a knee sock, even providing all manner of supplementary illustrations to drive the point home.

The initial tweet that started it all:

“NASA released this image of the eclipse, but the more I look at it, the more it’s starting to look like a strip of thigh bulging out between some hot pants and knee-high black socks.”
