Final Fantasy XV Director: Nude Mods “Up To Users”

Highly-Plump-Cidney-by-Souryu

Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata has revealed their stance regarding nude mods for the RPG’s PC version: instead of choosing to go on a disgruntled purging, Square Enix will allow users to decide on their own whether or not they wish to create and use such mods.

The possibility of nude mods was apparently a major concern amongst the game’s developers:

“When we were getting together for discussion, all the people together in the project were airing out their worries, [nude mods] were something most people were really worried about.”

Why such a thing would prove worrisome in this day and age where modifying a model to be nude is an easy (and common) accomplishment has naturally bewildered many, but despite their concerns, Tabata stated that he didn’t want to heavily limit users and thus is leaving it up to them over whether or not they want to pursue such perverted endeavors:

“This is part of the culture of gaming these days. These people — it’s a thing they’ve bought, it’s their game now. I don’t think it’s a good thing, but we’re going to leave it to the moral sense of all the players out there. I basically want, as a principle, to give as much freedom and as little limitations on it as possible.”

What online denizens think about this lenience:

“There’s no way nude mods wouldn’t come out.”

“The game wouldn’t sell without them.”

“Complete version of the homo game.”

“It’s mostly a male journey though.”

“Fujoshi rejoice!”

“There simply are no morals.”

“I guess someone will be making some macho mod.”

“Comiket already began stripping the characters.”

“Four naked guys wandering around would be quite surreal.”

“If there was a heroine I could imagine this being a thing, but in this game’s case it’d be a homo mod.”
