Schoolgirl Strikers: Twinkle Melodies has been announced as the newest entry into the popular Schoolgirl Strikers franchise, an “idol rhythm action” game for smartphones that will no doubt be asking players to spend money every few minutes in order to further line Square Enix’s pockets with micro-transaction gold…
An animated announcement trailer revealing new idol unit “Apricot Regulus” and song “I Wish”:
Those (for some reason) seeking an alternative to the vastly more popular IdolMaster and Love Live franchises can give Schoolgirl Strikers: Twinkle Melodies a shot this summer when it releases for free on iOS and Android.
Sick of this idol damnation. The industry needs a reformation.
I’m ok with this, hope that they come out something better (like high change of get SSR without spend the whole month of your salary).
There are quite a few of those 3d idol games, but most failed miserably except CGSS and MLTD now, as their 3D animation are at least 500 years away technologically better, I only seen SEGA has comparable quality in 3D idol animation(in Vita game-Miracle Girls Festival).
And few days ago CGSS up their Catcha winning probability up to 6%, which slightly (yes, only slightly) more affordable to get some SSR, and if you spend about USD$800 you can get to choose 1 SSR you like if you can’t get what you want before. (which still fucking horrendous)
I don’t mind this, but is there any need to put them in SGS?
I’ll play it though.
