An 8-bit Bayonetta game has graced Steam in honor of April Fools’, which devoted fans have quickly realized is the same retro mini-game that Platinum Games links to on their 404 page, but this time hiding a secret countdown page that theorists are surmising might be the announcement of Bayonetta on PC.
The hidden page was discovered after putting together the thumbnail images contained in two of the game’s Steam achievements, creating a link that led to this hidden countdown page and leaving many to speculate that the impending announcement may reveal a PC release for the beloved Bayonetta games.
A brief PV of the simplistic game:
Naturally, no other information is currently known, but the news is slated to arrive in about 9 days; the 8-bit Bayonetta title can be played now.

It’d be funny if it was Bayonetta 3.
Before the Bayonetta on PC “rah rah ra” starts, just remember all of Nier’s issues without the community patch..
NieR is perfectly fine. Its issues are quite minor and things like full screen will be fixed in the next patch.
Though I don’t know if the AMD plebs are having different problems – that might be true.
Metal Gear Rising was fine though
Not really, but they were quite minor

Hopefully future PC ports from nippon devs will get better as they realize it’s a pretty big market.
Now if only they could release their games to the west without dumbfuck censorship and SJW “journalism” messing with them.
There are two separate issues
1) There’s almost 0 demand for PC ports in Japan as it is much less common for people to have PCs at all, especially gaming ones. Most of the time a home might have a single laptop that is used for work/email. This is why consoles and phone games are so much more popular there and there’s little to no interest in PC ports
2) A lot of these games have issues with releasing on steam with all the original content in one piece without being censored in any way. Lots of Vita games especially can get quite risque and wouldn’t be allowed within steam’s guidelines without censoring. Not to say Bayonetta specifically would have any issue most likely.
Nobody’s ever mentioned SJWs. Why bring them up?
Paranoid much?
Because some Japanese devs have explicitly expressed concerns about localizing to the West thanks to Western gaming media and SJWs bitching and attacking them.
They’re a pain that some people would prefer to just avoid altogether, for good reason.
SJW only think about console gaming, they tend to leave PC out of the loop…
I recall PCGamer being an SJW cesspool, so no.
ATleast PC has the possibility of a patch instead of the fucked up version that was the ps3 version.
And inclusive in PC many modders fix more fast many bugs to the companys.
Yeah. That’s why I never bothered with the PS3 version.
I bothered when I saw the collector’s edition for 5 bucks in a second hand show.
Hopefully this means we get Bayonetta on a real game system soon, I’d love a 60 fps version on PC
Not to mention the mods, the delicious mods.
Get ready to cry 60FPS, heavy modded tears, it’s WiiU only since Nintendo flipped the bill for Bayonetta 2. Besides that, I don’t think Sega will port to PC since there’s little point now.
Maybe it’ll be on the Switch at some point, who knows. Not like it needs the WiiU gamepad to play it.
